Christmas is coming
Christmas irritates some people (the pressure to spend money, decorations in the shops from August, cheesy carols playing from mid-October...).
Not me. It's my favourite time of year. I love Christmas because it's about hope. Christmas says, 'The world is dark, but God broke into that darkness to bring His glorious light, and because of that, everything is going to be ok.'
Thousands of years ago, Isaiah knew Christmas was coming, and we can still echo his words today: 'The people who walk in darkness will see a great light. For those who live in a land of deep darkness, a light will shine.' (Isaiah 9:2)
